12 weeks

I apparently missed last week - but rather than attempt to go back we'll just move forward :)

How far along? 12 weeks 1 day

Total weight gain/loss: Not sure - haven't weighed myself in a few days, and I did eat a bit of turkey, etc.

Maternity clothes? Nope, still in my normal clothes

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Still tired - but it seems to be getting less

Best moment this week: On Friday I went with my mom and MIL to Babies R Us, it was really a lot of fun to look at all the baby stuff. I picked out a travel system that I want; and I have a better idea of what I want in a crib.

Movement: nope

Food cravings/aversions: none really

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: nothing

What I am looking forward to: Getting out of the first trimester next week - and the holidays in general

Weekly Wisdom: even though the holidays are a great time with family and friends; make sure and take the time to rest, and realize you limitations

Milestones: oh - the baby is now a fetus and not an embryo

Symptoms: Tiredness, getting full sooner

10 Weeks

I'm a few days late with updating, but I wanted to wait until after my OB appointment that was on Tues.

How far along? 10 weeks 4 days

Total weight gain/loss: Down 3 pounds

Maternity clothes? Nope, still in my normal clothes

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Still sleeping a lot, going to bed early, etc - hasn't been so bad.

Best moment this week: Getting another peek at the baby on Tues - I wasn't sure if they were going to do an U/S or not, but she pulled in the machine, it was great. They did an abdominal scan, so it wasn't nearly as clear as the other scans they did at the RE. We could see the baby, and the heart beating away - just didn't get very good pictures for the baby book, but that's ok :)

Movement: nope

Food cravings/aversions: not really - I'm back to eating some sweets, but not as much as I did before I got pregnant.

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: nothing

What I am looking forward to: Family visiting next week for Thanksgiving - we'll be busy getting ready, but we are looking forward to our parents coming to visit.

Weekly Wisdom: not sure...

Milestones: 10 weeks down - that means I am 1/4 of the way done.

Symptoms: Tiredness, loss of appetite (getting full sooner, and not wanting to eat as much as I used to, which is good for me)

**************

After the OB appointment they wanted to draw some blood - they took 9 vials from my hand, I noticed about 6 vials in that my hand was starting to form a nice bubble - it's still a bit swollen, and now I have a nice bruise on one of my knuckles.... Seriously getting blood drawn is always an adventure for me.

9 Weeks

Today is the start of week 9 :)

How far along? 9 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Basically the same - I think I have lost 3 pounds since the start of the pregnancy.

Maternity clothes? Nope, I have the bella band now, to maybe wear some pants I haven't been able to wear in awhile anyway.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Still sleeping a lot, going to bed early, etc - hasn't been so bad.

Best moment this week: Just really enjoying this pregnancy, and seeing how well the hubby cares for me. He decided not to go on a trip today in order to avoid getting sick; but he ended up getting sick anyway, but went to an urgent care clinic to make sure it wasn't the flu, only b/c I'm pregnant.

Movement: nope

Food cravings/aversions: no real changes - still not eating many sweets; and I'm not eating as much as I used to either - just trying to make sure I eat something every few hours

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: nothing

What I am looking forward to: Going to the OB/GYN on the 17th

Weekly Wisdom: Try to relax and enjoy the pregnancy - I've been lucky and haven't been sick - I'm trying to just enjoy this time

Milestones: Just making it one more week

Symptoms: Tiredness, loss of appetite (getting full sooner, and not wanting to eat as much as I used to, which is good for me)

Ultrasound at 8 weeks.

We could see arm and leg buds, strong heartbeat and some movement.
